About Maryland Rovers
A community built by Rover owners, for Rover owners.
Land Rovers aren’t just vehicles; they’re an invitation to explore, to wrench, to get dirty, and to belong to something bigger than a single garage. Maryland Rovers started because a handful of us kept running into each other at gas stations, cars and coffee, and local shows, swapping stories about the same rattles, the same mods, and the same love of the marque.
We exist to bring Rover owners and enthusiasts across Maryland together, to share knowledge, help each other keep these iconic machines on the road (and off it), and build genuine friendships along the way. Whether you’re driving a decades-old Defender or a brand-new Range Rover, if you love these trucks, there’s a seat for you at our table.
What We Do
Maryland Rovers is an active, hands-on club. Throughout the year, you’ll find us:
- Supporting car shows that put Rovers of every generation on display and celebrate the history and craftsmanship behind the brand
- Helping support meetups where members can swap tips, talk builds, and just enjoy each other’s company
- Supporting off-road events that take our trucks and our drivers out to where Rovers were born to be
The goal is built around one simple goal: bring Rovers together, and bring Rover people together with them.
Hunt Power Horsepower — Our Monthly Meetufp
Our flagship gathering is Hunt Power Horsepower, held on the first Saturday of every month. It’s the heartbeat of the club — a standing invitation for Rovers of every make, model, and mud-splatter level to roll in, park up, and hang out.
Come show off your rig, get advice on your next project, or just soak in a parking lot full of Land Rovers and Range Rovers. New to the club? This is the easiest way to jump in — no membership required, just show up.
Location/Time: Rovers meetup the first Saturday of every month, event is every Saturday 8am-10am (50 Shawan Road, Cockeysville, MD, near Iron Rooster)
